Amal Mattar studied physiotherapy at Bethlehem University, graduating in 1993. She worked for two years with a variety of patients at Bethlehem rehabilitation center including children and adults with neurological conditions before hiding for her first Master in Public Health at UCD in Dublin 1995.
Amal carried a variety of positions after that including Head of children department at a rehabilitation center, Lecturing at Bethlehem university and then ending with coordinating the Physiotherapy Program at Bethlehem University while enjoying working with patients at her own private practice.
Amal moved to live in Australia with her family in 2004 and was attracted by the course at the Melbourne University (Clinical Doctorate in Musculoskeletal physiotherapy) where she finished half of its component in 2009 with a Master in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. Upon her stay in Australia, she has worked at Sunshine Hospital for two years while continued to be part time at a private practice both in point cock and Newport.
She has a high interest in back pain and pelvic floor instability and looking forward to finish her doctorate with specialistaion in that area.
Amal enjoys the life in Australia with her three little children who represent a happy family.
