Kim Tennant

Physiotherapist & Clinical Pilates

Kim is one of the newest members of our vibrant Symmetry Physiotherapy team after graduating from Latrobe University in 2007. Throughout her studies she had great experience in the public hospital system and leading private practices via local soccer clubs, as well as an elective placement in Denmark where she worked in a Danish rehabilitation centre.

Throughout high school Kim’s love of sport fuelled her pursuit of becoming a physiotherapist. As a result she has a keen interest in the treatment of sporting injuries and in particular knee and ankle rehabilitation.

While not working you could find her training for her sporting passion, European handball. Kim currently plays for the Melbourne Power, the Victorian State Team and the Australian National Team. This has allowed her to travel around the world, including most recently to Russia in 2005 and France in 2007 for the World European Handball Championships.

Kim also loves to spend time with family and friends and travelling and ‘optimistically’ looks forward to watching Geelong win another flag.

Cameron played Australian Rules football for 20 years and has developed a keen interest in sporting injuries and their rehabilitation, particularly knee and shoulder injuries.  He has been involved with various sporting teams including the West Australian Women’s State hockey team, Victorian junior state baseball sides and local Australian Rules football clubs.
