Chris Welsh

Physiotherapist

Chris graduated from The University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2005 after previously completing a Bachelor of Exercise science at Australian Catholic University

Chris has been working at the Taylors Lakes and Sydenham clinics as well as the Hoppers Crossing clinic since graduating and has been an integral part of their growth. In 2009 Chris became part-owner of the Taylors Lakes and Sydenham clinics with Mark Round, after purchasing the clinics formerly known as Think Physio.

Chris' interest in physio was sparked through many years of involvement in sports, and his subsequent frequent visits to physiotherapists. Since practicing, he has developed a special interest in treating headaches & neck pain, shoulder pain and sporting injuries. Chris ensures his clients understand their injuries and his treatments have a strong focus on the prevention of a re-occurrence.

Over the years, Chris has worked with the Victorian Lacrosse team and Western Bulldogs AFL team.  He's currently the physiotherapist for the Keilor Football Club in the EDFL.

Anna Chanty

Physiotherapist

Anna graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2009 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (with Honours) after also completing a Bachelor of Science (with Honours) in 2003.

During her course, Anna spent one month working at the National Rehabilitation Centre in Laos; an experience that allowed her to explore her family background as well as experience a vastly different health setting.

Anna is a keen sports spectator and has developed a strong interest in managing sporting injuries, particularly knee, ankle and foot injuries.  She is currently a physiotherapist for Keilor Football Club in the EDFL.

Outside of physiotherapy, Anna also works at Melbourne Park (Rod Laver Arena) to help fund overseas holidays!  She enjoys working in backstage catering during concerts & has previously supervised large corporate functions at events including the Australian Open and on AFL Grand Final Day.

Aaron Sandilands

Physiotherapist

Aaron graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2008 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (with Honours). During his years of study he gained experience in both the public and private sectors, including a one month placement in London with the Chief Physiotherapist of the English Athletics Team. It was here that Aaron consolidated his desire to work with athletes in acute injury management and sports rehabilitation.

Aaron has a keen interest in biomechanics and exercise prescription, in particular of the shoulder and ankle. Working with local football and soccer players has also lead to a growing affinity for back-related lower limb injuries.

Aaron has been a life-long member and player for the Craigieburn Football Club. He has played in two premierships with his beloved Eagles and, as of 2009, is the head physiotherapist for the club. Working at Taylors Lakes has also meant treating players from a number of teams in the Essendon District Football League and, whilst his heart lies with Craigieburn, Aaron is happy to see his rivals thrive under his care.

Stephen Gosling

Physiotherapist

Stephen graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at LaTrobe University in 2007. He is currently practising at the Taylors Lakes and Sydenham practices after working for two years in Gippsland. His time in Gippsland was spent working in private practice, as well as in the local private hospital rehabilitating patients post orthopaedic surgery.

Stephen has a strong interest in sports injuries and musculoskeletal conditions and has worked for Gippsland Power Football Club (U18 TAC Cup) as well as treating other local sporting teams. In 2010 Stephen began working for the Werribee Football Club in the VFL and has enjoyed his role in managing high performance athletes.

Stephen has a special interest in the rehabilitation of acute and chronic sporting conditions and post surgical injuries. Other interests include lower limb biomechanics and exercise prescription. He has also recently completed training as an Occupational Physiotherapist to more effectively manage the complicated rehabilitation of WorkSafe and TAC clients.

Stephen’s interest in physiotherapy came from a sporting background where he played TAC Cup and state football. He is currently playing in the EDFL for Airport West and in his spare time he likes to go to the beach for a surf, play a social round of golf or tennis, and go for a run or gym session.
